Fjllrven’s Keb trousers have a bit of a cult following. Primarily designed as trekking trousers, they’ve got such a reputation for comfort and durability that you’ll often see them on gamekeepers, foresters, maintenance rangers and other outdoor workers. To say they’re fully featured is selling the Kebs a bit short offering ventilation zips, kneepad compartments, front cargo pockets and adjustable leg ends with boot hooks that can be used like gaiters. With shaped knees and a range of leg lengths to choose from, the fit is incredibly comfortable, thanks partly to the clever mix of stretch panels and super-tough G-1000 polycotton. For more demanding treks, you can also make the Kebs more wind and waterproof by applying Fjllrven’s Greenland wax.

  All you need is a tape measure!

  Avoid bulky clothes

  For the most accurate result, you should be measured wearing only your undergarments or close-fitting clothing, for example, a base layer. Its not a good idea to measure yourself wearing jeans, sweaters or other bulky clothing.

  1. Head– Measure the head around the biggest part and above your eyebrows.
  2. Arm Length– Bend the elbow slightly, then measure from the center back of the neck, over the shoulder to the elbow, and down to the wrist.
  3. Chest– Measure straight under your arms around your body at the fullest part of your chest.
  4. Waist– Measure around your waist at the narrowest part.
  5. Seat– Standing with your feet hip-width apart, measure around your hips at the widest part.
  6. Inner Leg Length– Standing in a straight position, measure from your crotch down the inside leg to the floor.
