Grade 2 British OPFOR DPM Windproof Smock

These smocks will NOT feature the wire hood. The wire was removed by British soldiers to make their smocks more “ally” (British-speak for high-speed and cool).

This British Army-issue windproof smock features the rare OPFOR Blue DPM camouflage pattern, originally issued to troops acting as opposing forces during training exercises. Constructed from a durable and breathable cotton/polyester fabric blend, the smock provides effective protection against wind and harsh weather.

Practical features include a hood, multiple large cargo pockets for storage, reinforced elbow patches for durability, adjustable cuffs, and a drawcord waist and hem for improved fit. This smock combines reliable performance with distinctive, military-grade construction.

OPFOR DPM History

Introduced in the early 2010s, the British OPFOR Blue DPM camouflage was created for troops playing the role of enemy forces during training exercises. Featuring bold shades of blue, black, and grey, this distinctive camo is easy to recognize, making training safer and more effective.

Its primarily issued to British Army units for use at specialized training facilities like the Salisbury Plain Training Area. Genuine pieces of this limited-production camo are now highly sought-after by collectors, offering a unique piece of British military history.
