Designed to be used in conjunction with a fixed-blade knife, the Exotac fireROD is the perfect fire-starting tool for camping, bushcraft and survival. Just strike down the rod towards a pile of tinder using the spine of your knife to unleash a wave of sparks. Unlike most matches and lighters, itll still work even it gets wet, making it a great tool for any emergency situation. The ferrocerium rod is replaceable too, so you wont need to discard the fireROD when the rod is worn out (though its good for thousands of strikes). Theres also a built-in tinder compartment hidden inside the rods anodised aluminium body, allowing you to keep a stash of dry tinder handy at all times.
