As much as we all love a good sleeping bag, theyve got nothing on your bed at home. The sheet and quilt combo is the most comfortable way to get some quality shut-eye. It just so happens that its not as thermally efficient, especially on chilly nights in the great outdoors. Enter Big Agnes Echo Park sleeping system, a plush and cosy backcountry bed that combines the comfort of a sheet and quilt set-up with the thermal efficiency of a bag. Too warm? Open up the side zippers to turn the bag into a free-flowing quilt, just like on your bed at home. Too cold? Zip everything up tight for maximum heat retention, and enjoy a comfortable night’s sleep in freezing temperatures. Ideal for 4-season campsite camping or off-grid adventures closer to the car, the 20 is the most versatile in Big Agnes Echo Park range delivering practical and portable cosiness across a broader temperature range.

Big Agnes is a small, independent US outdoor brand out of Steamboat Springs, Colorado a small ski-town that weve never visited but which we like to imagine is full of mountain-loving, trail-hiking outdoorsy types. That would make sense, since the company makes some of the best ultralight backpacking gear around, including the award-winning Copper Spur, Tiger Wall and Fly Creek tents. It is kit that has clearly been designed by a gang of folks who love sleeping in the dirt just as much as we do here at .
Oh, and if youre still wondering where the heck that name Big Agnes comes from, we did try to find out. Depending on who you talk to, its either an affectionate tribute to a legendary truck drivin mountain mama, or a 12,000 foot peak in the Mount Zirkel Wilderness. We kinda like the first one better.
