We’ve always enjoyed the concept of a day bed. A special piece of furniture designed specifically for napping when you ought to be doing something more useful. This Chastleton day bed from Garden Trading is an adapted version of their popular Chastleton bench, complete with long arms and an unusual slat pattern in the back. It’s got a striking contemporary design, and is crafted in a lovely weatherproof teak that’ll fade with age to a soft grey colour. It’s comfortably sized for two people, but makes a dreamy siesta spot for one.
