The collapsible 6-litre PVA- and BPA-free pouch packs small to fit into a rucksack. It is simple to use too: hang, fill, set up camp and, before you know it, a flow rate of up to 2 litres per minute has filled the bag with safe, clean water. The integrated bail handle on the nozzle simplifies filling, the practical carry strap makes fetching water from a river easier and the filter can be hung on a nearby tree once full. The membrane is easily cleaned at home or in the field by simply shaking or swishing the filter in water, with no backflushing or specials tools required.
