The LEKI MICRO VARIO CARBON MAX is the perfect backcountry pole for taller skiers and splitboarders or those seeking a little extra length. The MVC MAX is made of Carbon Fiber upper sections and an Aluminum lower section providing the optimal blend of weight, stability, and performance. The Micro Vario Carbon MAX is adjustable from 120-140 cm giving you the ability to alter the length throughout the day so your poles are always right were you want them. The MVC MAX comes the insulated Aergon grip, with an adjustable strap and extended foam grip for use when climbing steep terrain when you may want to hold one or both poles lower on the shaft. The pole folds into three sections of less than 15 making it a cinch to stow away in your pack if you need to scramble over rocks or use ice tools during your climb. The Carbide Tip assures the perfect pole plant even on the firmest slopes. The MICRO VARIO CARBON MAX comes with two interchangable baskets including the Binding Basket with a rigid edge allowing for simple adjustment of AT heel lifters on the fly or clearing snow easily from the bases or top sheets of skis. This pole also comes with a lower profile basket for firmer snow conditions or to swap out when the snow melts and you want to take these versatile poles onto your favorite hiking trail.
