Austrian Army KAZ 03 Rucksack

The Austrian Army KAZ 03 Rucksack is a modern military backpack engineered for seamless integration with combat gear.

Designed with ergonomics in mind, it includes an internal frame to help ease the load on the shoulders. It has a quite an unusual narrow profile which gives the bag a more sturdy and rigid feel about it when you are carrying it on your back. There is a quick-release loop on the right shoulder strap to enable easy disconnection of the rucksack.

The Austrian army use a combat belt as a hip belt which attaches to an external 30-mm aluminium piece of metal which inserts into the molle of the belt. This allows for quick release of the rucksack while still allowing the waist belt to be strapped on. Excellent feature for battle situations.

The shoulder straps are adjustable to accommodate various back lengths.The rucksacks top flap doubles as an external-access pocket, while the interior features a large pouch for secure, easy-to-reach storage. The main compartment is straightforward and functional, with a diaphragm separating the top and bottom sections. The lower compartment can be accessed via an external zipper equipped with buckle backups.
