The Turkish Army Parka

These parkas arebeautiful. Not only do they come with a grand total of six zip-up pockets, they provide several comfortable amenities. Each parka comes with a zip-in quilted liner, allowing you to adjust the warmth for any weather. The liner comes with one interior pocket as well, the perfect size for storing a phone or wallet. It can be worn alone if desired.

Just in case you need a little extra protection a conveniently placed drawstring hood is stored inside the collar.

The parka’s front is secured using a dual zip-up and snap cap front. For added adjustability the cuffs utilize velcro.

Model is 5′ 11″ and 160 pounds wearing a size medium.

Anatolian M81, A Brief History

The Turkish military has used various Woodland patterns since 1989. Post-WWII the Turks adopted various US-inspired camouflage patterns such as Frogskin and ERDL, culminating in the adoption of a 1:1 clone of US Woodland.

This particular version of Turkish Woodland was adopted in 2018 and only served for five years, being taken out of service in 2023. Unlike the original US design it only uses three colors, omitting the black shapes found in M81.

Sizing Info:

These parkas are intended to be worn layered. They fit a bit baggy, and more-so with their liner removed. If you desire a tighter fit, please order one size smaller than you typically wear.
