And while this lure was designed for trolling, it can be cast and retrieved if you employ thin diameter line in combination with a spinning reel; a method that is popular in rivers where swinging a plug through the holding water can produce savage strikes from fish waiting to ambush their prey.
Factory rigged with a size #10 treble hook, the 2.0 Mag Lip will swim correctly when treble hook is replaced with a size 6 or 8 siwash style single hook and performs best when single hook is attached via double split rings.
