The microfibre waffle knit fabric will gulp up spills and is made from 100% recycled post-consumer waste, the equivalent of around 8 plastic bottles. It even uses a special reactive dye that stops the snazzy double-sided design fading away over time. Lightweight and quick-drying, it’s perfect for the camp kitchen or, you know, your actual home.

• Founded by way of California and Hawaii in 2015, three friends started Slowtide as a product of their lifestyle. After spending long days at the beach, they realised that there was no towel that was both exciting and fit their daily needs; so they set out to create one.
