From handlebar pack to bum-bag

A genius idea from our friends at Temple Cycles. It’s a neat little bag that fixes securely underneath your handlebars, then converts into a comfy bum-bag or cross-body pack for when you want to continue your adventures on foot. Attachment to the bars is via a couple of quick cam-straps and a drawstring, and it switches effortlessly across into bum-bag mode thanks to an adjustable strap with quick-fix magnetic buckles. The two-litre capacity is just the right size for a packable waterproof, sunnies and sundries, with a quick-access front pocket and internal divider. The bar bag is made in tough and weatherproof polyester, with waterproof zips to help keep your stuff dry. It’s got all the style and impeccable build quality of Temple’s exquisite custom bikes, with plenty of thoughtful little touches like attachment loops for lights or reflectors.

We regularly ogle the beautiful custom-built bikes that come out of their workshop, and we watch them zipping off for their group rides on Saturday mornings as were packing your orders.

They started out restoring vintage bikes, before deciding that they could take those elegant, tried-and-tested designs and translate them into modern city steeds that also take advantage of the latest materials and technology.
