Wherever your adventures take you, Osprey’s Transporter duffels will get your gear there and back safely. They’re constructed in a special high-tenacity coated nylon fabric called NanoTough, which as the name might suggest offers the best weight-to-durability combo in the business, along with solid water-resistance. What’s more, you’ll struggle to find a gear-hauler with a more comfortable carry system. Osprey’s Transporter duffels all feature full-yoke stowaway harnesses with contoured and padded backpack straps, plus webbing grab handles and the all-important sternum strap. The main compartment has lockable U-zip access with an overlapping rain flap to stop the moisture seeping in through the zip. Inside you’ve got a useful mesh pocket, and there’s also a smaller zip pocket on the end for your quick-access essentials. Should you need to secure the Transporter to a roof-rack/canoe/pack pony etc., there are eight webbing lash points. Available in various different sizes, the Transporter 120 is the second-largest in the range, with more than enough space for all but the most gear-heavy trips.
